"Climate Change"

             Changes may happen everywhere. After so many years, there are a lot of changes that had happened in our environment. The environment was made by God and we all know that we, people, have the duties and responsibilities to take good care of it.

              Destruction of our environment is a big affect in our climate. One destruction that causes a big change to our climate is the burning of the trees in the rain forest. If we continue burning trees, there will be no fresh air for us to breath that the trees can only provide. The birds will lose their homes. There will be no trees for them to rest after a long flight. And if this destruction will not be stop, it will cause different damages. Illegal logging is also a one destruction. Both legal and illegal lagging should be stopped to prevent the occurrence of flash floods and landslides in the countryside which may cause a lot of death.

               This senseless destruction must stop. Now!

My 2nd Grading Period

My 2nd Grading Period

            After some time, though it wasn't that long I came to know the real person in me. It is only now that I felt my importance and worth which I failed to see when I was in that shadow. But slowly I began picking up the pieces left for me. Besides, life must go on.

            In this grading period, I always wanted then to prove something... something which I can never quite cast away from my mind. As I entered school, I got the real picture of the world- a world where "survival of the fittest" is the latest cry. Sometimes I would keep pondering on as to what special thing will life offer me as I grow old. Since I can't figure out what it is. I sometimes spend hours of my time meaninglessly, not knowing of what am I to do. Still, determination enjoined me to make a name for myself amidst this cruel life we are living because time after time things are really getting different.

             Even though there are some obstructions along my way I had to be strong and so did I. And here I am, standing once again. I had to let go, and so I did. No matter how hard, I know I must survive. A bright future is ahead of me.

                    Science have played a big part in the development of human civilization. Advancements in this field have help people become more adaptable to their changing surroundings. They use science to make life easier and better. However, there are things that you need to understand to fully utilize the advancements brought by science.

                    Before  there was Science, people tried to explain phenomena by referring to myths, legends, folklores, and supertitions. With the dawning of Science, we have come to understand even the simplest idea according to scientific concepts. However, much remains undiscovered and a number of mysteries are still unsolve. But hopefully, as we enhance our knowledge, and capabilities , as science advances, the hidden and the mysterious will eventually be revealed. Humans use science to make life easier and better. But some misuse and abuse it. We must always remember that science should be utilized to bring about progress for society and well-being for everybody.

Teachers Truly Admire

           " Hardships and pains are only spices of life, face them with courage and determination and they will find their way out in our life". This line inspires the teachers to struggle and face the world full of challenges and hardships as they reared their children to the best of her ability.
           Despite their work at home, they can still manage to bring some achievements for our school. A teacher is a model in our school. They are intelligent and responsible. Whenever we have problems they lend a helping hand to solve those problems at once. I really love and admire all of my teachers very much not because one of them is my adviser but because they devoted their life for us as their student. I really admire their strong determination to face the life alone without fear in their face as they go on their daily struggle in life.
            A teacher is a hardworking because they work the whole day long. At night they prepare their lesson plan. Ready for the next mission. These are the teachers-the great mother, great mentor, and the great moulder.

My Hero

"My Hero"

                They are the type of person who would rather give more to their children rather than less, they balances their tendency to spoil by talking to them clearly and making them understand things. They both believe that the best form of discipline is out of love and never out of anger. They are my parents, well known as my heroes.

                When I was younger, so much younger than today, I still remember how my parents scolded me. They scolded me every time I disobey them. Sometimes I hate them because I can’t understand what they are trying to say. Now I realize why my parents acted like that before. They are trying to teach us some lessons. They scolded us for our own good. These days, so much has been said about teenagers blaming their parents for treating them so strictly. Many people talk about the need for parents to understand their children. But isn’t it just as important for teenagers to understand their parents? Maybe if we saw this we would be more tolerant towards our parents. I don’t think they are reluctant to give us too much freedom because they don’t trust us. I guess it’s because they know that we are not completely capable of coping with the dangers of total independence. Haven’t you often been told that if parents seem strict or unreasonable, they are thinking only of our welfare? Instead of trying to spoil your happiness, they are really trying to insure it.

                Parents are natural advisers and counselors. They give you advice and suggestions on how you should live your life. They give you directions on how to make your life worthwhile according to their own understanding.

                The Philippines is our country and our home… our only home. Over populated, polluted, corrupted government, these are some of the negative supplications of people when they are inquired to describe the Philippines. You must try to see our country beyond the pollution, the traffic, the corruption, the crimes, and the calamities for these are just isolated cases. But out of this economic problem that our country is facing, there are still wide clean area that offers the benefit. There are still a lot of Filipino Festivities that one can enjoy, Filipino Values that you can learn and strengthen and a lot of beautiful places where you can travel.

                Travel has become the great Filipino dream. Even if a Filipino has just arrived in a foreign land, he/she can always identify a fellow Filipino. Traditions and cultures have been modified, sometimes forgotten. In spite of the extensive changes, we must not forget our roots, our beginnings. We may modify, but we must not erase the essence of things because these are the things that give us our identity. Neither distance, time nor culture can impede a Filipino from knowing a fellow countryman. We, Filipinos, are known for our loving ways. We show our love through various ways and simple styles. The Filipinos in general are polite and hospitable.

                Yes! The Philippines is worth seeing and Filipinos are worth knowing. There are imperfections but the fact remains that our country is unique. So before you start dreaming of visiting or living in another country why not see first all that you can see in the Philippines. You might just realize that it is worth staying here after all.

Reflection

Life’s Long Adventurous Journey

Life is an odyssey itself. The world seems to have no definite direction; it is so difficult in a way that most of us don’t know what’s in it as we remain clueless and naive. We are the captains of our own lives. The makers of our own future. We are the ones who are manipulating and deciding things for our own good. What we have decided is a reflection of what we are right now and what we will be in the near future.

We are now in the midst of our pilgrimage looking for our faith. To find our destiny and seek the real essence of life. But what kind of life awaits us? Is it from better to worst? Or worst to better? Could we overcome all the challenges and changes in our way? In life, there are a lot of challenges that suddenly come in our way. My biggest problem is my fear on disappointment. It could hurt our feelings and discourage anyone to keep up. My quest to attain the real me unmasked the world for me. I came to a conclusion that to live is to suffer and to survive is to find meaning in it.

In every disappointment, we lost our trust in ourselves and in others, but without disappointments no one can look on through his/her mistakes and learn from it to make life worth living. Because we all know that failures are our stepping stones in achieving success by imparting us with the lesson of not doing a mistake again and to strive and aim for the victory. Therefore, we should not be fazed by the failures that come by us. Let us learn from them. Life has a lot of circumstances: ups and down, twists and turns, tears and laughters; all these are part of our journey. And as we continue to strive, we can’t elude the obstructions in our way which will serve as our guide as we go through.

So, moving on, as I persist in my struggle, I have to be strong enough in facing all the trials. And if I have succeeded, I will impart the knowledge I have gained. But if I lose, all I have to do is to stand and keep on fighting.
